fine scratches

I own a vivid black lowrider. I had a custom tank put on and noticed very fine scratches in the clear coat. It really bugs me, what product will remove these. I do not know how they got there in the first place.

3M scratch remover, Light polishing compoung, scratch x. There's alot of productocts out there try using the lightest first. Then I think theres a few products that will fill the marks but thats temporary. Theres alot of people will chime in but black bikes are a double edged sword.

HD makes a swirl and scratch remover. The rubbing compound brakes down as you rub so you don't over do it. I think 3M makes it.

I have used it, and it works on my 00 Vivid Black RKC

Check this web site out!! I use their products on anything with a paint job and it is truly an amazing product. Especially for black!!

It does a great job getting scratches out and leaves a great finish. Look at some of the detailing tips on the site. I have a 41,000 mile Black Road King that looks like brand new! I attribute it all to Zaino and being careful.

Don't let the dealer ever wash your bike after service.
