Painted gas tank fill neck

I purchased a new 09 FLHRC, when I went to refill the gas tank for the first time and I noticed the paint was inside the filler neck of the gas tank. This paint is peeling off into my gas tank which will eventually clog my gas tank filter.

Has anyone have this problem, this is really a QC issue with the MOCO.

yes..When I got my bike repainted the same thing happened to me..I took a razor blade and trimmed it back to where it wasnt peeling anymore and then took clear fingernail polish (My moms dont worry) and coated it real well and it cured it..Sounds like if yours is a 09 you just need to take it back to the dealer tho and tell them to do something about it
