RIP Bobby Hamilton
Just heard NASCAR driver and owner Bobby Hamilton lost his fight with cancer. Hope all is well with his family, thoughts and prayers to all.

Prayers to his family from here. He was a class act.
I also just heard that Benny Parsons has been re-admitted to an ICU unit facing his battle with cancer.

Sad day...
NASCAR lost a real racer today...one of the true good guys of the sport, and by all accounts, a good man...rest in peace, Bobby Hamilton...condolences and good thoughts with his family and many friends.

This guy worked hard and did it his way. Aside from winning about 4 Cup races, he built a top notch truck operation.
When I first came to Nashville, I watched this guy dominate the local short track late model series. He was one of the drivers of the movie cars when they were filming Days of Thunder just before he broke in to Cup.
RIP.

Wow this is a shock. I remember him stepping down when he found out he had cancer. Didn't expect this.
