My brother died this morning
Early this morning my brother died in a motorcycle accident. He was avid Harley owner for twenty years. I'm trying to keep busy before my flight home tomorrow morning. Does anyone know of or know where to browse meaningful biker-esque verses or poems or such that can be used for the service?

My deepest sympathy to you and yours at this time.
Anything that deals with Freedom will catch the sentiment felt by us all. There is no Creed nor Doctrine, no verses to remember or repeat.
One thing that is important now is to remember that anyone who has been ridein for 20 has made a lot of friends on the road.
You will get a lot from those he rode with. Look to his ridein brothers, they will know.
Peace to you.
Jimmy

Thanks for your messages. I left the following day to fly home. Unfortunately, my parents had left on vacation the morning of the accident and we couldn't reach them until 2.5 days later. Then they had to drive 14 hours home as it was too late to get a flight back. As terrible as it was trying to get in touch with them, we as sibings were able to absorb things and take the time to plan the funeral. It started with a bike procession (about 150 bikes, most doubled) riding his ashes home from the funeral home, past the house, to the service. There were about 1000 people there. We had pictures of him throughout his like on power point, 5 people from different circles sharing memories, and his ashes were brought in to the song 'Souvenirs' and out to 'Midnight Rider,' his favorite song. He was looking forward to Milwaukee this year.
Thanks for your thoughts and ride safe.

Our prayers go out to you and your siblings. Especially to your parents, as parents should never have to lay a child to rest!
My signature states how I feel!!

Sad:
As everyone has said, our prayers are with you and your family. May God hold all of you so very close in these days.

All i can say is i'm sorry, i know what it's like to lose a loved one and its bollocks, no amount of words can help at the moment, just remember him and live your life like he wanted you too. Be strong, God bless Brit babe & Harleyhog xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
