I don't watch wrestling...BUT...back in the 80s when I was in my teens I used to love that crew of wrestlers from the WWF. Roddy Piper was my fav. I thought Cap't Lou was the coolest, especially when he got involved with Cindi Lauper. Too bad that people in their 20s that watch today's wrestling, don't know who Cap't Lou was...or who Cindi Lauper was either.

I'm going way back. Dick the Bruiser and Bobby Heenan, man there were alot of bloody matches when I saw them live. I always heard Capt. Lou was Cindy Laupers dad? Capt Lou would have looked awesome riding a Roadking with the rubber bands flowing in the wind.

My Grandparents started me on wrestling in the late 50's. Haystacks Calhoun 601 lbs, Ricky Star, former ballet dancer probably the first pro wrestler to use flying acrobatics. Never forget the Fabulous Moolah! And oh yeah, wrestling had a Govenor too, Jessi Ventura.

Mad Dog Vachon would jump on people and bite them, The Crusher would practice crushing coconuts. Vern Gagne was great. We used to go to the local high school in probably 1970-1977 and watch.

Funny thing is these guys are all on www.wikipedia.org

This is exactly what we used to go see. All Star Wrestling.
