Unhappy RIP Mike and Sue Kelm. Love Cedonia, Everett, Tacoma, and Anacortes

Mom and Dad;
It was a sad day when you went out on your ride on Labor Day, as we loved your company.
When the driver of the car took your lives, we were left with no one to play with us, and to care for us.
Now we are looking to be adopted together, as our love for each other is all that we have left.
Can anyone on V-Twin help us stay together?
You can read our sad story in the Daily Hearld newspaper from Illinois, the Cook County edition, for today, Saturday, September 25, 2009.
Thanks

???? dogs...? Man, I'm a dog owner for the last 16 years. I don't get it. Call me cold or whatever you want, but these are dogs for pete's sake.

Just my opinion.

Mike and Sue were on possibly her last ride, as she was scheduled for brain surgery.
Car came out of a service station, and ended their lives.

...and it has room for an incredible diversity of opinions, loves, peeves, and hates. Some would see this effort as "over the top" while others would consider the emotional health of those animals and try as hard as they could to keep these orphans together.

I happen to belong to the latter group, and I'm trying to do as much as I can (which is still bloody little) to keep this canine family together, while still respecting the diversity of others around me that see little sense in even trying...

If I lived close enough, I would take them in a heartbeat. Easy to say, I know, but it's still the truth for all of that.

They had a "Bark In The Park" this weekend in Downers Grove, Illinois, where they are going to post the article.
I have not read about the outcome.
Hopefully it was a positive event.
Thanks Tri.

I notice that 3 of the dogs are named after towns up here in Washington. Anacortes just had the Oyster Run last weekend. Hope the 4 critters can stay together, may God bless all involved in this tragedy.....

Steelhorse:
Yes, you are correct.
According to a article in the Daily Herald on 9-16-09, all were named because of their owner's love of the Northwest.

I'm reading what I posted now and am regretting it. At times typing crap I don't really mean comes easy.

I'm sorry for offending you guys.

According to The Daily Herald, Cook County, Illinois edition for today, October 22, all four dogs have found a new forever home 'together'!
The permanent adoption process should be completed next week.
