Prayers and good thoughts needed
Prayers and good thoughts needed
Mothers Day at 2:00 pm my brother in law and his 9 yr old grand daughter were riding on his Harley near Spokane WA when a 89 yr old lady t-boned them. The grand daughter was killed and my bro was crushed from the waist down. He has been in surgery since about 3 and it's 11 now. My wife has been up there visiting for the past week and getting to see her niece for the first time in about 6 years. This is so sad my brother in law loved his little grand daughter so much that this is going to crush him when he comes out. So I'm asking for you thoughts and prayers for this little Angel and her family. These are good people, and we all have a heavy heart right now. Please give you kids and loved ones a big hug... . I'm in the process of setting up another account for my brother in law Robin and Jessica, the mother of Nehalah. She actually lost her job because of this tragedy... And I know Robin is on a long road to recovery. Now I'm defiantly not a guy that asks for hand outs, especially in the tough economy we are in. I'm just trying to do what ever I can for this family.
A little update, Robins leg is in pretty bad shape I was told today it only had about 2" of tissue holding it together when they brought him in. We were pretty much prepared for amputation for the sake of his kidneys over working to flush out all the bad tissue running through his system. But there was a bit of good news today in that they found a good pulse in his foot... Both of his upper femur's were broken in two places, and they were repaired with rods and plates, can you say 'The bionic man'... sorry for all the gory details but the more I write this the more I'm reminded how lucky he is to be alive and how fragile and precious life is... http://www.krem.com/topstories/stori....13026071.html

I'm very sorry to hear that. You and your family are in my thoughts/prayers. Somtimes many of us get the "invincible" feeling (including me). Hearing a story like this, even though being VERY sad, gets me grounded again. Realizing that you life can change in just split seconds is a very scary thought. I sincerely hope the best for you and your family I

Robin Had recently lost his job at Alcoa after 20 yrs. He and his wife Sue just relocated back to Washington, his home state, from Michigan. They wanted to be closer to the family farm.Sue just had major back surgery about three weeks ago, so she will have a very difficult time with all the help robins going to need in the coming months. We all know how those medical expenses can add up. He is looking at multiple surgeries, he has had 2 already, and many months of recovery. We have set up an account in his name, Robin Scholz, to offset some of the expensive. So whatever you can do would be hugely appreciated. Donations can be made to Robin Scholz Benefit Account Bank of Fairfield 201 w. North River Dr. Suite 305 Spokane, WA 99201 contact Jenny Sampson 509-328-6000 jsampson@bankoffairfield.com checks can be made out to Beverly Susan Scholz in the memo Robin Scholz Benefit account

What a sad, sad tragedy.
Prayers for everyone, including the driver of the car, but especially for the victims, added to my daily list.
