Larry Cameron

It was with shock and sadness that we learned last night of the death of an old friend of mine. Larry Cameron, originally from Omaha and living in Sulphur Springs, TX was on his way back to Omaha for our 30 year class reunion. He was on his Harley, stopped at a toll booth in Oklahoma when he was hit from behind by a semi.

All of us extend our deepest condolences to Larry's family and anyone who knew him - because if you knew him, he was a friend.

Real shame about Larry

The death of Larry Cameron is a real loss to the riding community in NE TX. Larry was a great guy with a good attitude, and a good example of a Christian man. I knew him through our mutual affiliation with the CMA , he being a member of one of our sister chapters, the Spokes for Hope out of Sulphur Springs, TX. From the newspaper account out of Antlers OK, and what we have heard, Larry probably never knew what hit him, which is a good thing, and never had a chance the way the accident occurred, which is a bad thing. He will be sorely missed by all of us that came in contact with him! The one consolation out of this is for those of us who share in his faith, we will see him again on the other side. Larry is no doubt at home with the Father.
