My dad's gone

The fragility of life - God's precious gift to us; our home, our souls, our spirits. All of creation, that was what my dad loved. He labored all his adult life in a quest to preserve God's gift to us all, and for that, I thank you dad. Your legacy will live in me, forever.

He bought me my first motorcycle, a Honda Super 90, when I was 15. I owe so much to him I cannot even begin to list.

See you later, dad.

RIP - Frank Phipps Wright 1/24/1914 - 7/4/2008

Sorry to hear about your loss, I feel your pain. When I was 16 my dad rebuilt my broken down 250 Yamaha, I learned so much from him - lost my dad when I was 18, I am 55 now and I still miss him. I am sure you have alot of nice memories - bring those out when you need them.

Sorry to hear about your loss. My Dad was killed (on the very bike I now ride) when I was 6 months old. I envy anyone who has had the privilege of having memories of both their parents, as that's something that I don't have. But it's nice to get out on the bike and go out some back country road and just think about him and know that he's out there with me riding along side.

I know what you're feeling. My Dad bought me my first bike - a Suzuki 90cc dirt bike - when I was 13. He passed away several years ago. I'm 51 now and I still feel like he's there with me whenever I ride. Glad you have fond memories. You have my deepest sympathy for your loss.
