RIP Jeff Healey

At the age of 41 after a fight with cancer one of the great blues guitarist has passed. 3-2-08

Admin is on a distinguished road
Not just an amazing talent! A super nice down to earth guy who put his money where his mouth was to promote Canadian talent. I met him at a small showcase event in TO years ago and I was impressed by his warmth and sincerity.

He won't be forgotten.

and my wife is a nurse and looked after jeff a few months back....she (well the whole floor of nurses) just thought he was jewel of person..

you saw him live?..aren't you afraid to go downtown......btw got a bike yet?

LOL - Did I say that? I actually saw him (coincidently enough) at the old Indian Motorcycle club at a release party for the "Too Much" album - that was back when I was still in radio.

No bike yet...but lets not DB cooper this thread. If you're in TO sir, I'd be pleased to have a beer with you on the patio at my place this summer or in the city some time.

Yes this was a Class Act and a super guitar player. Given the cards he was dealt, the rest of us should feel grateful for whatever is thrown at us. RIP Jeff.

Can you imagine Healy, Hendix and Vaugh jamming.
