Sorry for your loss Rick. I can only begin to imagine how hard that must be. Have a nice holiday season.

In Loving Memory of You ©
by Debbie Heydrick
Quietly I'm remembering you
in the silence of my heart.
Each thought of you, a treasure
while we are now apart.
At times I'm filled with longing;
Your face I'd love to see,
To feel your warmth, to hear your voice,
to have you here with me.
But God has a plan; He created you
and numbered all your days.
May he hold you in His loving arms
and surround me with His grace.
With the hope of reunion in Heaven one day,
I entrust you in His care.
Cherished memories of you live on in my heart.
Your life is a gift we share.
Rest in Peace Gregory!

I've been fortunate that I haven't lost any family members but we lost a friend to a riding accident earlier this year.
In memory of John "Rooster" Coyle
We miss you brother....

Thanks for starting this thread.
In Loving Memory of "Mom".
She was buried 3 days before Christmas.
The last 30 years of her life were very difficult but her greatest joy in the last few were her Grandchildren.
Rest in Peace Mom.
That being said, now to something that truly needs to be said.
Please all, get a Will drawn up and make sure someone knows where an "original" is being kept.
Get Life Insurance, especially one that will cover the cost of your house when you die, so that your heirs will not be cast into the street by the bank.
(I've seen it happen twice in the last couple of years)
If you have more than one Life Ins policy, make sure that the info is kept with the Will.
Credit cards usually offer, for a small fee, Insurance that will cover your dept at a minimum to more.
This can pay off your depts as opposed to leaving it to you family to sort out.
It is hard enough dealing with the passing of a loved one, then throw in the many thousands of dollars in dept and it can be even more traumatic to the family left behind.
These are but a few of the lessons that I am currently learning,
"the hard way".

Rick, I always try to envision my wife who loved to cook hanging out with my friends and mom who are dearly departed, they hung out together in life why not in death???? She will be gone 8 years next month, died @ 42 way too young.
