[Road Queen]

Lord , let your hand be on the throttle of my life .
When I need to go forward , open it up!

Keep my eyes focused in front of me ,
So that I don’t become lost .

When I need to turn ,
Point me in the right direction .

Show me the signs along the way,
And give me the wisdom to take the right road .

When I need to change gears ,
Remind me to use the clutch .

When I need to stop ,
Put on the brakes .

When I ride into the darkness ,
Be my headlight .

Encourage me to take time daily
To fill my tank with your Spirit .

Protect me from the road debris thrown at me my the enemy
and guide me safely around the potholes in my paths .

Forgive me when I ride off coarse .
As I forgive others that may unintentionally cut me off .

Forever ride by my side as my personal road captain .
I pledge my loyalty to the V-Twin

I'm Dee, AKA Sleepyminister....I'm new to this forum...my husband got me the most awesome Valentine's Day present. I got my first bike, a 2001 Harley Softtail Deuce. He sent me to the safety course and it made a HUGE difference in my riding skills. He was also a good teacher, lots of prayers later, I'm riding daily, don't like to drive the cage anymore unless I have to. I've since added the flame grips, footpegs, highway pegs, etc. I have a stage one kit and the Screamin Eagle on her. New engine guard, fog lamps on the guard, purple LED lights under her for night riding visibility, and front windshield. New mirrors with the fisheyes to take care of any blindspots. I use a helmet bag strapped to my luggage rack for daily use (instead of saddle bags). For longer trips, I have a T-Bag that sits on my sissybar on the passenger seat backrest. I'm still working on my theme with the flames. I have plans to put on the chrome flames Derby cover, and some other stuff. I'm pretty well chromed out with the exception of just a couple things. Loving my bike, my husband for the wonderful gift, and GOD for protecting me during the ride! Blessings!
