A bit off the subject

I need help with a research 5-7 page paper I need to write for sociology. I was wanting to do it on women and riding. I thought it would be interesting to go into the history of women riding and how it used to be frowned on (not the norm) and now it's more acceptable. Any suggestions on websites I can start with? I have to have this thing done by Dec 6th, so it's kinda crunch time (typical college procrastination ). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think the Motor Maids were some of the originals and still riding. You might check out the Devil Dolls (westcoastdevildolls.com) for up to date out look.

Just go to google and type in "history of women motorcyclists". You are bound to find some stuff.

Actually I did put off the graduation thing...How did ya know? I was going for the Associates but had so many B.S. classes done that I wasn't too far off from a Bachelor's. It's only about $20k different a year....
Thanks everyone for the pointers. I already know I have to put something about the MotorMaids and DevilDolls in there. Found some good stuff off Harley's site too.
Thanks again...

Was playing with the procrastination remark and checked out your birthdate in your profile. Never too late to go back to school. My Bride received her Associates this past June at 45 years old. Good luck to you and keep up the schooling. Can't get enough if it comes easy too you!

Thank you very much gunnut! Everyone keeps reminding me that 'there's only 5 more years til 30' or 'you're a 1/4 century old'. Family can be so sweet sometimes....
