Gentleman requests Ladies Input

I never thought of my hands as small, in fact generally I wear a large or even extra-large glove. But I'm finding that 1) the grips on my new softail for a little too big in diameter, and 2) the brake lever is a little too far away for my reach. I moved the controls around a little, which helped, a little. I figured maybe some of the female VTF members might have smaller hands, have experienced the same thing, and have some ideas. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim.

Well, I'm no lady, nor do I play one on TV, and I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but...

My wife had the same problem. If your grips are not stock, that could be part of the problem. H-D makes them from 1.3" dia up to like 1.69". Measure them, then try a smaller set for starters.
Custom Chrome makes a pair of "Ergonomic Levers" that are rotated 10 degrees back that makes reaching them a little easier. I've got an extra set of those if you wind up needing them, I'd cut you a deal...

I think these guys answered your question. I changed grips on my bike. I haven't done anything about the levers yet though.

Could you point me to a part #?
Couldn't find them online or in the print catalog...

Thanks,
