My wife is 5 foot nothing and we were wondering what would be a good bike for her, can any of you ladies help out?

Take a look at a Honda Shadow VLX. It is a torquey hard to stall Vtwin with very low seat height. Looks like a softail, lots of chrome, and will keep up with your Harley. My wife loved hers before she moved up to a Low Rider. Used ones are always available here for 3000-4000 miles. Search the forum for a thread called "Positive Blast" for a lot of good discussion on this topic.

a good friend of mine who is also a shorty, bought a v-star and totally loves it. the bike looks great, runs great, and she looks great on it

Thanks both appreciate the feedback. We will go looking. Up here bike dealers are few and far between. She has been trying different bikes when we meet people but none are low enough.

What she lacks in hight she makes up for in attitude.
