BTW, "ahar," the pic on my avatar certainly was not my bike - I prefer current bikes as they have better brakes, better engines, better electrical systems, better handling and are more reliable... The old avatar pic was a nice pic but since you objected, I have replaced the picture with the picture from the tailend of my bike - the only thing you would see if we were ever on the same street...

Lady B, you took that wrong, you were describing a hot bike, and it was just an off hand observation that it wasn't your avatar. No offense meant. and it is a hot bike. Congradulations, although I may not be seeing it from the rear like you think, or if I am, it won't be for long.
I am surprised they issued you that plate, good on you.

Hiya back!
Put some Mini Apes on that Dyna, you'll love em!
I'll try to post a pic later this week they look as good as the feel.
My wife is always on the back, so a Sportster was never an option for us.
The bags look good,
Steve

Thanx for the reply, Ahar - I guess I did misinterpret and apologize if I was a bit bitchy... Of course, we'd still have to see who gets to look at who's license plate! I must admit, though, I do like the looks of my license plate as my new avatar!

Thread update... traded in my Road King and sold my Springer. Now I'm back with my heart-throb... a 2012 Heritage Classic. The 2004 Hertiage was my first Harley, and I should have just bought another one after it got totaled in my wreck instead of trying out the tourers. LOVE my Heritage! I miss the Springer, but it had "issues".

My Ride
I started on a Suzuki 90 in the 70s. Fun little ride. Got a Honda Rebel 250 in the 80s. Always wanted a Harley. Finally broke down and got one in 2004, a new 05 Road King ~ loved that bike. Major Cervical surgery had me trading in my Road King for a 2012 Tri Glide about 2 months ago. Happy to be back out riding, will always miss the RK. Really enjoying the Tri Glide! Sweet ride.

I get that. My hubster has a 2003 Heritage Springer and I'd rather ride that than my SG. I love it. Great bike. I agree with you about the tourers.

I'm still riding the 20 year old FXR that I bought new in 1992. I keep riding it because it is the best handling big Harley ever made. When the MoCo builds a nice looking equally well handling sport touring bike with ABS and cruise control, I'll consider it.

Please post pictures of that Sportster... I have never seen a 1300 cc.

I ride a 2008 Deluxe and so far I love it. I've had it for just over a year now and try to find every reason I can for getting on the back of her.

Hi All,
I ride a 2011 XL883L because it just felt like it fit me the best. She's white over orange and has taken me from yellow stone to West Verginia with no worries.

I ride an 01 HD Dyna Low Rider Custom and I love it. Will never sell her, although I keep threatening my hubby that I'm going to trade his Softail in for a Street glide so I can use it for long distance rides! ha ha!
My first bike was a 1200 Sporty. Lowered it, still hated it, never felt comfy on it, rode it 2000 miles in 3 mos, sold it and got my Dyna! Finally felt natural on a bike!
I love to ride. My uncles took me for rides when I was little and I've wanted one ever since. It's so freeing and clears the mind. I named my bike "grace" because she saves my sanity...my saving grace

Why do I ride? It is simply because I love riding and it gives me stress free. Every weekend I go riding and discover different places.
