A friend and I are looking for other women riders in Southern MN for friendly, safety-oriented weekend rides and a few trips.

Anyone around who is interested in getting away from the family for a while and doing some female-style riding? (Dunno what that means, exactly. We can figger it out, though.)

I beleive TigerBikerBill perfected the "swagger" one must exhibit when wearing assless chaps. I beleive it's a form of performance art guaranteed to get one invited to female style riding. I allmost had my significant other convinced that female-style riding involved sitting in front of me facing backward so she could keep an eye on where we had been, but she tossed me a look and mentioned something about "scissoring" and girls with wallets on Oprah or something I couldn't understand. She also said my testiclezone level is obviously too high.

Anja, too bad I don't live closer. I don't know any female riders with whom to ride, and while I like riding with the boys, it would be nice to have "all girl" rides every so often.

Yes, it would be fun to ride with you, Annie. We could bring the cats? Hee.

I'm guessing that maybe spending a little more time browsing the shops and things like that would be involved. Hot tubbing? Certainly traveling at a leisurely pace would be included. Anyway, nothing with a set schedule other than leaving and arriving home.

She said she's been talking to the local Harley dealer about having more events for women.

You know, it just occurred to me to drop this note in the MN section, too.

Heh. If you're starved for a little female attention you can come on by and I'll let you sit on the bike. Maybe even let you honk the horn a time or two.

I'm up in the cities, Anja, and rarely go down south. On weekends, I'm usually in Wisconsin.

Maybe our paths will cross sometime. Since they raised the speed limit on 169 it's a quick trip. And a pretty one along the MN River. I've seen quite a few eagles along there this Spring.

The stretch between St. Peter and Mankato is as pretty in the Fall as anyplace over by the Mississippi.. Our bluffs just aren't as big.

WI is a good place to ride, too.
