Metzler ME 880's
Never going back top Dunlop, may try Avon down the road but really have no need to.

I have Metzlers on my Drifter 1500 but now I only buy Avons because I get them at cost.

I just went to the Metzeler 880s (front & rear) on my FLTR. Jury's still out, they seem a bit bouncy. Not too sure about the handling either. There's a different curve to the tire -- it's a broader arc in the center with a greater arc as you progress out. The first 15-20 degrees of bank is pretty easy, then there's some resistance as the arc changes. That's my experience anyway. I've only gone maybe 1,000 miles, so still adjusting. The bouncy thing is my biggest problem with them. I think it's related to the higher pressure (44-46).

I think you have to much air in them and that is why it is bouncy. Metzler websire says 38 front & 44 rear.

I have the Metzler ME880's on my Springer and I love 'em. To me, they handle so much better than the stock Dunlops. I was thinking about trying a set of Michelins on my Ultra (still have the stock Dunlops for a couple of thousand miles). I have heard good things about them, especially for cruisers.
