New bike added to the stable
I picked up a new bike over the weekend, a BWM K1200GT. A couple of people have expressed an interested in this bike before so I though I would share a photo of the new ride!

Kinda like you bought two of the same bike, huh? Fitted fairing and all . But I do have an eye for the Beamers.

I like my road glide Rock, but I can assure you there are vastly different capabilities between the two.
I am having a blast riding it, lots of fun in the corners and the accelearation when you twist the throttle on this thing is amazing.
Haven't decided which I am going to ride down to KC just yet....

Thanks for the compliment.
I really like it so far. Took a bit at first to get used to since the riding position is different than my Road Glide, but I got over that pretty quickly and have to say it delivers a really nice ride.
Lots of power, great handling. A really fun bike.
I am looking forward to putting more miles on it!

You mean I wasn't going to be razzed about the Road Glide , well hell, I will just ride that instead!
Actually I have more storage on the beamer, got a topcase, (tourpack in harley speak), that wasn't in the picture I took. I don't have a tourpack for the road glide so I have a carry the extra gear in a waterproof bag.
Since I am sure to get razzed in either case, it may just come down to the flip of a coin.

Beautiful bike. You're a lucky man. Be interesting to see what you think after you've put a few miles on it.

It is under serious consideration. Right now, there is a 50/50 chance of that!

Man that is suh-weet! I wish I could have aquired the 07' GT to add to the stable. But, truth in fundage and reality after really working the numbers, says it's gonna be another couple years before I get one. Although I did get a new CBR to satisfy my cravings for corner carving until I can swing that GT.
Enjoy that new Beemer! Im jealous.

I say ride the beamer. More storage room, more power. Why wouldn't you?
