Hello you all.
last saturday morning a vehicle didnt stop at the junction where he had a 'stop' sign,
the vehicle run in to my bike directly in front and crached it.
I'm OK because I managed to jump of it a milisec' befor the crash took place.
my beloved marauder in the other hand is not OK at all.
the chassis got dented in 4 spots: two above the radiator and two more under the fule tank.
the front suspention also minoraly dented under the lower triangle.
those are the serious damages, all the rest I can manage my self.
he's insurance will pay for it in a few months, but the thing is that I dont want it to go off road and disasambled,
it is a very good bike and a very rare one here in israel. I canot let it go to waist couse I cand find other one to replace this one.
the question is: were can I find a chassis over seas legaly and send it here to replace the one that smashed in the accident?
and is it OK to straighten the front suspention? will it not make it weaker?
it got dented from the bottles, it is only a small bend.
the bike is from the year model 1997 if it make any diffrence betwean the newer models.
