Maybe this is just natural attrition. A culling of the herd if you will, and I must admit, I'm not crying in my beer to see a foreign auto manufacturer leave our market. But I am disturbed that a primary decision factor was excessive government regulation. Too close to government picking winners and losers.

Well ok...but what makes Suzuki America a conservative owned business. Which is your claim that "wingnut" (your word I guess for conservatives ) took all yhe credit for their successes. But blame government for their failures. So do you have an actual example of your stated claim?

My dog took a dump on the floor this morning (very rare occurrence). I don't think Obama had anything to do with that. The dog did mention something about Obama though. Guess when you rely on others for your care and feeding it just sort of comes naturally.

Government Motors closed down production on more cars (and jobs) than Suzuki. I'm sure costs and regulations never were a factor.

I have a 2008 SX4. It's been a great car. I frequent a SX4 forum and the consensus seems to be that they are good cars. The problem seems to be that Suzuki USA had no idea how to market a car line. In October Suzuki sold about 2000 US units. Subaru sold 26,000, Kia 42,000 and Hyundai 50,000. Just can't make a profit selling 2000 cars per month.
