Honda Fury?
Anyone seen 1 in person ye tor test riden one?
found one on ebay.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-2...1%7C240%3A1318
Went to the local honda/yamaha dealer last week to see about picking up a "honda" spark plug wrench and they had a bunch of handouts about it. They deal mostly in sport bikes and off road type toys, and hardly have anything in stock for cruisers, so don't know if they were trying to push for any interest in it to order a few...dunno....
Looking at it, I kinda like the lines and styling....

I read a magazine review of it and the reviewer liked it quite a bit. Apparently it's quite civilized in handling. It's a little wierd though isn't it? It's a Honda chopper with shaft drive.

from some of the things i have read about it, honda gave a couple of bikes to
Jesse James and west coast choppers and had them build them a chopper and then used it for a prototype for that new bike.

For guys on the fence about what brand of bike to get, I'm sure the price tag will sway a few in Honda's favor. Doesn't look all that bad.

wow!! I'm pretty new to riding (owned my 01 Shadow ACE since Nov. and got my license just in Jan. of this year) but always figured as long as it's on 2 wheels it's all good.
I'd like to turn my bike around and sell it to get an H-D, but having only paid $750 for my bike I'm just enjoying being on 2 wheels. Unfortuantely it's also easier to get financing through Honda/Yamaha, or what not then through H-D
Thanks to a horrible divorce in which my credit got destroyed ( Car I gave to the ex was repo'd and jsut settled and paid that off today) and paying up the arse in child support due to working out of town and getting subsistence...I'm just waying all my options for what to get next.
Would I love an H-D of course, but financially and realistically, if I was to get a newer bike, an H-D jsut isn't in the budget at this point.

You are absolutely correct, as long as you are riding then good for you. Trust me I have been in the same place as you with the whole Big-D thing (twice). And I am very familiar with child support also only 4 more years of payments I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I wasnt bagging on you My only point if any was it just aint a Harley. Good luck you bro I know its hard and regardless of what ride you get given the opportunity I would ride with you any day.

welp, went to the local dealership yesterday, Liberty Motorsports, to pick up spark plugs and an air filter for my ACE, and also to have them take a look at some issues I'm having. Biek still runs, but really rough, so they adjsuted what they could, and it does run better, but most likely will require a rebuild of the carb pretty soon.
anyways, they finally got a Fury in. Wouldn't let me take it for a spin, lol, but got to sit on it. For me, I like the riding position with the controls seeming to stretch outa bit in the front making for a nice stretched ride. Overall that seemed nice, and a comfy seat, for a factory one anyways... Although must admit, while everything looks nice and got lots of chrome (bike they had was a bright blue and everythign was either blue or chrome, but it does look kinda cheap and platicky.
Due to the ex, at this point, looks like I'll most likely have my ACE atleast another year, before my credit gets built up a bit and can save some money to upgrade. Hopefully by then, I can look at eitehr a Dyna or softail to upgrade too...just never know.

Not my cup of tea personally and it's poor timing for Honda....
But the early reviews say if you assess it for what it IS (and not for what it is NOT), it's a pretty good bike.
I suspect they'll eventually sell them all but it won't be a bike that Honda builds very long. If I was a Honda Collector I'd buy one.
