2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Nomad

I'm thinking of buying an '08 1600 Nomad and wanted some opinions on the bike.

Specifically, is there much of an aftermarket for it? I did some searching and can't find one good place to get all the things I'd like and can't at all find passenger arm rests, if anyone makes them.

A little help!

The first thing I would check is if there are parts available for it, the Asian bike manufactures are well know to discontiue parts after the manditory 7 years DOT requires them to carry parts.

As to aftermarket, compared to Harley, almost nothing. Pipes and air cleaners are about it. and very limited at that.

I wouldn't recomend buying it. Don't get me wrong. I own a 96 vulcan 1500. Yea, It's got more crack than my Ultra, but you can't get much for it. Go to a dealer and ask for what you want and they'll tell ya. nope, but we can order it. or we can't get those anymore. And after market is spendy to say the least. But you'd be suprised how many Harley parts you can get to fit with a bit of finess. If you want to know what you can put on that bike from your Harley shop mail me. I'll tell you what I put on mine.
