Vulcan 900 ??? Need input.

Im thinking of getting the woman a new bike. I took her out looking yesterday and a 07 Vulcan 900 Classic caught her eye. But on the other hand so did an 08 Sportster 1200C. Any input you could give here would be greatly appreciated.

as they day there's an ass for every seat...he sporty/vulcan both have their pros and cons...

bought my bride an 06 800 vulcan ..its a much lower seating set up...feels a hell of lot lighter...big tires..big tank...that model sure looks more like a softail than any of the other rice cruisers out there...price is right for the bike...but it lacks that feel ..and sounds like crap..

personally i hate to ride it..but that's just me...i would prefer a sportster...but for my wife a sportster would intimidate her......if you can get yours out on a test ride that might do the trick...

imho

I second the test rides. Best way to tell.

My nephew has a 900 Classic LT,that he bought on my advice. I think the 900 Vulcan is a great bike for price of admission. I test rode it for him. Low center of gravity, fat gas tank, nice clutch, soft ride are a plus for shorter newer riders. I didn't like the bars or the floorboards. Made my bike feel rude and crude after riding the Vulcan I love rude and crude
