Bike recomendation

Could any one give me a reconmendation I'm looking at three bikes one is a 93 honda shadow 600 VLX w/8,600 miles
the other is a 93 honda shadow VT 1100C with 19,000 miles and one is a 94 honda magna
I'm looking at them as being daily commuting bikes I cant find many reviews on the bikes so any info would be helpful.
Thanks

What type of use? Is daily commuting all you intend to do? How far a commute and what type of ride is it? Highway, city?

How experienced are you? Can you handle the 1100?

Bottom line:

If this is strictly point to point city driving, it would not mattter to you engine size and I would go with the best maintained low mileage bike.

If your going to use the bike for pleasure and you like to ride away from the commute I would go with the 1100. It is going to be more fun to ride but is going to be a heavier more powerful bike and that is where your current skill level comes into play.

I would say the 1100 or the magna. The Magna is a faster bike but the 1100 is probably a more comfortable cruiser for long trips depending on your size. I would say both are good bikes to start with. The other one IMO is to small for a 70 mi a day commuter.

The 1100 is a great all around bike. It will eat up highway miles at 70-80 mph all day without sweat.

How many miles on the Magna and what are the prices?

I've always liked the Magnas.

Provided all three are in great condition (very important), I'd go for the 1100. Your skill level will rise to the occasion in a couple of weeks. There is no replacement for displacement. Hands down.

I have never met or even heard of someone saying they wish they had less power. I have heard people say a particular bike is too big for them but that is always due to height or strength and you can tell that the minute you sit on the bike. My $.02
