Thumbs down FRIDAY THE 13TH my beef

(read at your own risk ..may be boring to you non canucks)

....as most e/canadians have noted over the last 15 years we have been growing our own little mini-me sturgis in Port Dover Ontario every Friday the 13th...whatever month it comes in ..(sometimes twice a year)

this year the next one is aug 13th...(estimate 80,000 bodies) and sure it will be too frickin crowded but its worthwhile going.

Our law enforcement boys will be blocking all the roads as usual...It gets worse every 13th....even last year in the rain June 13th we had to wait on our bikes in lines over an hour long in order that they could get a close look at you going thru the check point.

We have every flavour of law-man all over the place... uniforms and undercover mounties..anti biker force..opp..local dover cops even a SWAT team standing by..helicopters with cameras..what overkill. My tax dlrs going for this??

All this just to see if they can get a photo or find something to arrest any 1%rs (HAMC/OUTLAWS/ECT/ strikers/hang arounds) ...for the rest of us
99%r's if you have the wrong helmet or maybe a baffle fell out of your exhaust you can get jacked up too. Is it just me or are we getting a little too mucking futch scrutiny here.

Most Canadians have been to the big US rallies and no way are we put under the microscope like we are in Dover. Anyhow just a warning for any US visitors and those that have not attended before.

This is just suggestion in that you go low-profile while you are entering the area. And book reeeeeeaaal early if you are looking for somewhere to bunk for the nite....lots of camping but rooms are a scarce commodity.

It will be HUGE this Aug...if anyone on the VTF is coming and wants to hook up let me know...be glad to show you around...
