hey joe just saw your post, I used to be at ol Spangdoole from 76-79 drank lots of Bitburger. Been to the pigfest in Wittlich yet??

Yes we did just last month and had a good time. But so far the best time I had was European Bike Week in Austria. Nothing in the states I have seen even compares. The police let the bikes do what ever when ever and never got in the way except to hold back the people or cars so the bikes could have the right of way. We been here for about a year and have three more to go but I can make do. Good to hear from you, Take care Joe

I have a brother in law that is stationed at spangdahlem right now.

Is that the Super Rally you're talking about? I went to all of them from 94-97. In 96 it was in Nanzig, Austria. I think that one was the best for reasons only known to those who were there.

It was at Faaker See Austria at the base of the Swiss Alps. The traffic flow was one way around a huge lake and you could watch bikes all day without seeing the same bike too many times. I heard many different numbers but they think around 30,000 bikes was there. I think this was the seventh year for this rally but I’m not sure. No fines, no tickets and nudity was encouraged as was burn out any where any place. We even rode to Zagreb, Croatia to pick up a shirt now that was interesting ride. My riding season is just about over but it sure was a good one.

Not sure what exactly he does for the Air Force I know it is with computer network security but he is very vague when he talks about it and I don't pry. I figure if he could talk about it he would. He doesn't ride.
