Anything happening in Italy during July 2009? Went to look up the HOG Chapters in Italy, but they are not particularly up to date.

European HOG events in July:
- 3-5 July: Swiss Harley days
-12-14 July: Morzine, French National HOG Rally
-17-19 July:Barcelona Harley Days, Spain.
If you stay in northern Italy the first 2 events are within a day's travel through the Alpes, the nicest scenery in Europa.
Most chapter a weekly ride-out, eventually with a bbq, but they organise it locally, so better contact the chapter of the region where you will stay.

I will look into what arrangements I can make, and may even alter my travel plans a bit, as I was planning on spending 3 weeks in Italy, from 4 July to about 27 July. Maybe a little ride to one of those bike events will be a great idea.

Morning All,

I have been offered a Ducati Multistrada to tour around Italy on, for a week or so, by a friend who distributes Ducati's in Sunny South Africa. Goes against the grain a bit to be riding on one of those :-), but I guess it could be a lot of fun.

Looking forward to some riding in Europe, especially now that I cannot make the annual pilgrimage that my biking buddies make to America to ride Harleys for a week. I have got a court case that whole week. :-(
