Over the Australian ALPS Tour

About 2 Years ago I did a bit of research on a epic 12 Day 1927 Harley tour which went Over the ALPS region of Victoria, Australia. I wrote a story about it and had it posted on a English motorcycle website. A friend sent the story in to HEAVY DUTY motorcycle Magazine here in Oz, and they published it.

From the fantastic feedback from the story it was suggested to do a re-enactment ride to celebrate the 80th year of the original 1927 tour. We have organised the for Feburary 08. with proceeds being donated to the Australian Quadriplegic Association... We have a website set up at www.otaa80.com which has the story of the '27 tour, ALL infomation relating to registration, News Letters etc. So far we have about 50 riders on the tour and looking for more in the following weeks to register. Donations of sponsors goods will be auctioned on the tour and as stated donated to the Quads...
