Dyno jet 250 new down load

I am looking for any tuners that have had problems with low hp&tq numbers on dyno jet 250 after installing the lattest 2006 up grade from dyno jet.

Otto has been tuning on a new, since April, 250i with load brake and it has all the latest upgrades. We've been seeing numbers that make sense for the builds that have been tuned. Make sure that the data file that contains the drum calibration information is the correct one for that machine.

the dyno that I am talking about is 3yrs. old. the head instructor said the he hsd brrn getting low numbers oh hp motor. So he installed the soft ware that came with the dyno. He tested three of his built up motors. One with the new program lost 10hp.When he put the oud soft ware bcck in the dyno. The

bike that high hp &tq numbers,The instructor called tuners that he knew, and they were having the same problem.

I am assuming that the old/new software you refer to has the exact same calibration data file to that drum. Correct? please verify.

Weather station is hooked up and working correctly?

Drum bearings are good as new?

A call to DJ and a talk with one of their engineers would solve this.

If your going from Win 6 to Win 7 most see a drop in HP as DJ change the way they calculate numbers.

The other thing you might want to do is send your stack back to DJ to have it checked and recalculated if necessary. DJ will probably suggest you do that when you talk to them. Thats not a bad idea to do if it's never been checked since new. Depending on usage it not a bad idea to do at least every two year if not every year.

Also just saw a new DJ 250I that was handing out big numbers. Owner ran same bike on his DJ250 and got lower numbers so he looked at uncorrected numbers between the two and sent the I's stack back to DJ to have them check calabration as it was handing out big correction factor.
