Paniolo is on a distinguished road
www.partsdonor.com

A recent posting got me thinking.

How about this..... we all sign and agree to donate the salvagable parts of our bikes in the event we wreck. Say for instance a rider in Nebraska is a member, and is in need of a saddlebag. If a bike that wrecks color matches his, he gets first right of refusal for it. He also pays shipping and handling fees.

The possibilities are endless, and we take care of ourselves.

springer- will become famous soon enough
I suspect you would first have to pry the parts out of the insurance companies hands.

It's a good idea, but someone, somewhere will make a business out of it, i.e. "Bikebay" and will get rich off of it instead of being a donation type service.
