I do most of the time, but geez there's alot more bikes out there these days. The other day I even saw a SCOOTER wave at a guy on a Harley. Puleeeeeze! I spontaneously laughed out load.

At least around here, the developmentally disabled types mostly ride scooters year 'round as their only means of transportation. I always wave to them.

There is a whole squad of scooter riders somewhere around here. They wear full face helmets and full leather get up, just like sport bikers. about 15 or 20 of them on scooters. They are a strange group.

Maybe that little scooter is the limit of their riding skills. Who am I to rag on them?

Not looking to cyber slap you here. Well maybe just a little but, what do you know of the scooter rider? What if he spends his free time in a homeless shelter helping to do the dishes for ones that can't get meal any other way. Think it might be ok to throw a hand his way then?

I have and will ride with people on the forum over the last two years. Seems the more they love to ride the more they get along with all riders.

Don't know any scooter riders but, have met a heck of a bunch of good people on different bikes than what I sell and ride. Many for that is all they could afford. I just can't find it in me not to show a kindness when one is given.

What's next only wave to Fatboy riders? People under 40? Only to people that ride red bikes?

Fellow named Paul wrote something a while back. I try to think of it each day. " Be ye kind one to another:" I would like to get that part right in my life before I check out.

I pretty much wave at anyone on two wheels unless my hand's on the clutch. 'Round here on the less-traveled roads even the cars/trucks wave at each other. First few weeks I was here I wondered who else must have a truck that looks just like mine?

If I see a bike I'll wave. However I have just about given up that little act of social kindness as I wave and the other doesn't. Call me stupid (or whatever you want) but I was brought up to be polite, I expect that in return. I'm not talking about someone sitting at a light (I understand that, if both hands are holding levers I head nod) I'm talking on city streets, etc. So, what I've started doing is to throw a wave out there and not look for the waveback. But frankly, I'm about to stop this little pleasantry. As ya'll can tell it is a peeve of mine. Now about not using blinkers.......
