First peek at '07 Paint Scheme?
I was visiting a local dealer and had a chance to see the color chips for the 07 models. One of the two-tone combinations is Vivid Black with Denim Black. The new Harley mailer features an image of a Street Bob with that exact color scheme. Could these be the first peek at an 07 ride?

Description
It's basically a Vivid Black paint scheme with Denim (Flat) Black panels on the sides of the tank (versus being "split" horizontally across the tank like the Roadking Two-Tone scheme). The picture doesn't show how the treatment looks on the rest of the sheet metal but I wouldn't be surprised if it is limited to the tank where it makes the strongest statement. The H-D badge sits in the middle of the Denim pannel. Looks sharp.

My dealer told me last week that they would feature a denim (flat) black, as well as a denim (flat) gray. Sounds like primer to me....

It is primer but now they call it "old skool"

There is also one more denim color coming out as well. I saw the color chart today. The white changes as well. As well as a couple new two tones etc.....The dealers may not tell ya because they want to sell the bikes they have now....

I'm holding out for the (flat) rust painted Street Bob. Leisure suit red.

What's the new white? I like white bikes but never cared much for glacier white. If a better white would have been available in '05, my RK could be white instead of Black Cherry Pearl.

The new white...
...is a White Pearl. The salesmen told me that he thought it had a gold-ish "sheen" to it. Typically, pearlized colors have a "silvery" sheen so I'm curious to see how it looks. The Yellow on the Roadking Custom has a golden sheen to it so the effect might be similar.

The new white is called white gold pearl. It is white with gold metallic that shines gold in the sun. Very nice!
There is also a blue denim color that is flat blue. Can't remember for sure, but think it's only available on the Street Rod and Street Bob?
