chrome parts
I need some help. I'm looking for the best place to buy good chrome parts. I have a 2002 fatty that needs a some dressing up. I need some driving lights, derby and inspection covers, shifter linkage, chrome or stainless nuts and bolts, etc. I've seen what the HD store has to offer and it's all good. My wife has told me a million times to stop exaggerating but I bet there is a least ten million web sites out there that all sell chrome. After looking at some of them the local HD dealership isn't looking too bad on price. I'm just looking for the best stuff for the best price. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There are several HD dealers that sell at 20-25% off.
Zannotis, Hales, Chicago Harley. I've used Chicago and
they were fine.
Curtis629 on this board sells a really nice shifter rod for under
$40.
Fasteners I would get at a good hardware store. They're way
too expensive at HD.
Go on the HD website, figure out what you want then order.

I've also had good luck with DENNIS KIRK along with J&P Cycle and you also might try Custom Dynamics for lighting and Kuryakyn products at a good price.
BTW Custom Chrome doesn't sell direct... but they do have a great catalog of chrome!!!

20% savings more or less
I've been using www.discountbiker.com for a lot of stuff this last year plus. Typical discount is 20% from Harley's MSRP. Takes a few days to get the stuff from them. And thier site leaves somthing to be desired in terms of user friendly. Give them a try.

I have had good luck on EBay. The best deals I have found is when someone misspells the name of it.
Example: I picked up a Night Train belt guard for $20.00 still in the box. It was a simple one they spelled it NightTrain. No space.
