Hey guys, not sure if you have thought about this, but Marc Basnight (Dare Co.) is a powerful force. The OBX has bike week in April, which I think saw a drop in attendance this year...I think some of the drop is from guys that live in non helmet states. He has something to gain by attracting people to the OBX, he is a business owner there.

also, in Easyriders it mentions a bill to make it illegal in NC to have a passenger less than 10 years old on a bike, might want to mention that one too! My son would be crushed.
