Unhappy Motorcycle/Bikers Boots Design

Hello!

I am in an art class right now and as a part of our project, we need to create a design on boots fitted to motorcycling/bikers. If I can create a great design, I can submit it to a company and can get an internship spot. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Please please help!

Most of us aren't bikers. We're just posers, so we may not be of much help.

Is the focus on style or function? Do you want a boot that's as good for walking around off the bike as riding?

Age of target market for style's sake? Maybe unnecessary, but this board is mostly Harley owners who tend to bit older than, say, the sport bike crowd. At least I keep hearing that we tend to be older.

I'd recommend leather, with a 1" heel and toe & ankle protection.

Seriously, as stated, you need to nail down some more variables.

He could design some boots with little tennis balls that would match the ones on your walker.

The thing is--its all been done before.
Unless you design some weird funky looking stuff.

The best boots are durable with true sewn welted soles, good quality leather and a simple design allowing for all day, day after day riding also comfortable and safe for walking and or hiking.

For some nice style, quality, comfort and protection, but not so good for walking/hiking, but fine for walking around some between riding periods--this is hard to beat.

Design an improvement to either type and you may have a winner.

I think something in white patent leather to go with an Elvis suit would sell in L. A. and Las Vegas.

My walker can outrun your wheelchair. Especially since I installed S&S tennis balls.

The sport bike crowd wears sneakers for the most part, so I don't think much can come of worrying about them.

Probably true. Although I have seen some that look like leather-upper high-top Converse shoes. Roland Sands, I think. I guess they qualify as "boots". Not sure who they're aimed for but probably not so much the typical HD crowd.
