Winter Oil Change

I have a 2004 Heritage that I ride year round. I'm getting ready for my 5000 mile change and I was planning on going to a synthetic oil. Not being a tech, I was wondering how the 20w50 SYN3 is during the winter. I'll ride in any temp as long as there's not snow on the road. Will the bike start with a 20w50 oil in 10 degree weather?

Yes, but it'll struggle.
I lived in Audubon for a long while & 20w50 Mobil 1 worked o.k..
I've heard some in the east will actually put 10w40 in for the winter if they plan on riding during the single digit temps.
Here in AZ, it gets cold enough for my 'Glide to struggle in the morning, but do well the rest of the day.
If your scoot is garage kept (which I would guess it is being in Jersey), you should have no problem using 20w50.
I would go with the Mobil 1 due to it's price difference.
Just my opinion.
Ride safe,
