Hostess will be shutting down and liquidating if the striking workers do not return to work today. Same thing happened to olen in alton ill when the unions wouldnt give consessions. Olen just shut the doors, period.

Further proof you have no idea of what's happening around you. Like a good lefty you remain ensconced in your cocoon.

I don't blame them, if you could liquidate now and get out of this business climate, when your own employees have chosen not to support your business. Take the money and run! Will not be surprised to see more businesses deciding it is not worth it to keep the wheels turning.

Hostess makes sugary garbage. Someone will fill that gaping hole pronto. Olin moved some ammo production south - They still have a big footprint in Alton, Illinois. Just want to set the record straight.

The reason Hostess is bankrupt is that they have been mismanaged.

Except one. The Teamsters to their credit know Hostess isn't playing games and they admit it.

If the unions do "compromise", they will likely wind up owning a big part of the future company. I hope they all work this out. There is no shortage of people who want sugary baked treats. If they can't make it in that market when others can, something is wrong with management, and that includes dealing effectively with the unions involved.

You look it up. You made the statement, "they just shut the doors, period." They didn't. Your ignorance is not a good reason for me to scurry off and do research for you. And, it's Olin, not Olen.

Good job unions, you killed another one.

So which is worse; a job at slightly lower wages or no job?

Yep, 18,500 newly unemployed workers. Not a pretty picture. Very sad.
