Supporting the troops is ...
...more than a bumper sticker,
...more than a magnet on the fridge,
...more than posting messages on a forum

It's action. There are many different ways to actively support the troops. Let me recommend one that I and many others find extremely rewarding. One that many families request but never fully expect the overwhelming pride they have when witnessing the hero's welcome given to their son or daughter.
The Warriors Watch Riders.
It's shaking the hand of a returning serviceman/woman. It's giving them a hug while you thank them for their service.

It's standing in a flag line with many others. It's escorting them home, making all the noise you can so the neighbors come out to welcome them home too. It's showing them the respect, pride and honor they deserve for putting themselves in harm's way. Many of us honor the fallen heroes through other groups and will also continue to do so. Doing so makes us appreciate the sacrifices and dedication these young men and women make on our behalf and makes us appreciate the welcome homes all that much more.
If you're interested please visit
www.warriorswatch.org. You'll find a group of some of the greatest people you'll ever meet. Many are veterans, some are not (I'm not). Poke around the site and if you like what you see, join us. We'd love to have you.
And to those who have family members serving overseas, THANK YOU for your sacrifices and please contact us to welcome your loved one home. Let them know their country loves them.
Thanks for your time.
