good bye harley
After waiting over a week for a harley dealer to get a used bike ready for me to test ride, they told me on the day it was ready that they really don't want to take a trade in on a used bike. This is just one of many bad exsperiences I have had with this dealer. So I decided I will trade my road king in for a *** bike. I know it will make no difference to harley but I won't have to swallow the constant crap I get from the dealer. In my opinion once again they have made no real improvements to there bikes but have raised the price. So I guess I'll just get a good handling bike and put some cash back in my pocket.

Just remember...Riding a *** bike is like kissing your sister...It feels good until you get caught....
Seriously...No one around here except the patchers care what you ride...Vintage bikes of every brand are getting VERY popular here...

Maybe if I hold onto my nearly mint '79 KZ a little longer I'll finally be cool.

Every Sun a perfect, 1960 stock BMW gets a lot of attension...
There is also a guy that rides a Brough Superior a lot..very cool...!
Saw a good cond Kaw 750 triple 2 stroke...
Several 70's Honda chops running around..
Saw a RD - 400 cafe commuter - mint cond...
One guy rides a 1920 HD a lot..very cool......
There seems to be lots of people with old Triumphs, Nortons and BSA's too...
If you are not sure if the KZ is cool yet...Ask the guys at "the Horse - Backstreet Choppers"...They know older stuff...

Good point. There are at least five dealers within 60 miles of me. I went to a dealer about 100 miles away when I bought my Ultra.

I don't blame you a bit. I am on a HD now partly because they have the only decent dealership in town. I started out wanting a Victory when I graduated from the crotch rocket. Their dealership was full of morons so here I am.

I ride a Harley, my wife has a Kaw Vulcan. 2 wheels good, 4 wheels bad. The important thing is that you're on a bike and not in a cage!

When I went to the nearest dealer I was looking at the buell XB9R. I am bored with the heavy cruisers, and just riding to the bar with the locals. Ive tryed to get these guys to do some longer rides but they are happy just having a gotee a shaved head and a beer (sound familiar?) So after the dealer jerked me around again ( Why drive 100 miles when the place is 2 miles away) I started looking at the triumph daytona, I will drive 30 to get this bike because its the nearest dealer. So when the locals are drinking beer and admiring each others shaved heads and gotee I'll be on the road.

Went 130 to get my e-glide after the closest dealer kept playing games. They kept calling me for a week after I told them I aleady bought somewhere else. Biggest problem is that the same family own the 3 dealerships in town. Good thing UPS and Fedex deliver.
