Victory has announced more specs on the new Vision

Victory is definately jumping in with both feet with their new touring bike, the Victory Vision. I picked the brain of one of the Company reps while at a bike show. I asked about the trunk vs. no trunk. He stated that the trunk can be taken off by a few bolts through the bottom of it.

Might be something to think about all of V-Twin long distanc riders!

Think about unbolting it? Naw I'll stick to my HD. You can unbolt it!

Have to ride long distance just to find a Victory dealer....
Vision.... Victory has very little vision if they can't build and support a better dealer network.

You are on target there. I tried to buy an 8Ball before I bought my Night Train. The local dealership had a moron/asshole for a manager and the good dealer was 2 hours away. The local dealership has since gone out of business, which they earned with their poor treatment of customers.

They are excellent motorcycles but they have to sort out some dealership issues.

They had some good dealers, but they have very little say, Victory sends them the bikes they want sold and dictates the price they have to sell the bike for, soon the dealers get tired of the BS and quit selling them.
Parts and service support is not real good from what I have seen either.
Victory thinks they have arrived but I bet they don't sell 10 thousand bikes a year in the US.
Resale is worse then a Metric, makes it good for people looking for a used one.
