3 piece tube clamps for hiway pegs = trash
bought some used Kuryakyn highway pegs,
they had the engine guard clamps,
i wanted mine on the down tube.
was in a hurry, could only find the 3 piece clamps in the down tube sizes.
but i stripped the little assemble allen heads on the 3 piece with no effort,
finally ended up, using a rubber mallet of the head of the ratchet to drive it in while i tried to tighten them up.
one highway peg still rotates is you push on it moderately hard.
being cheap and in a hurry costs more than it is worth.
the 3 piece was $6.95 one shop, $8.95 another.
