Hillside made my blonde a redhead!

Well, i have gotten some emails and pm's about the Hillside Cycle 103 build i was doing. I would just like to take this thread to personally thank Scott and Craig at Hillside Cycle. They have been great to deal with. They delivered the package and all of the other requests completely on time and in budget. Can't thank them enough for helping me put this together. The head work and machine work is perfect as i have expected and seen from previous builds with Hillside. Scott also sent my parts out for powder coating and diamond cutting which looks amazing. Well enough thanks and ass kissing for now.( I have to suck up as they are doing my own 117 very soon.)

Well here are the build details.
The motor started out as a CVO103 motor out of a Screamin Eagle Electraglide.
It made 91hp/94tq(just found old dyno) in stage one form.
Hillsidecycle Stage II head work to the stock S/E heads.
Boring/honing cyls to fit the new S/E high compression pistons
S/E High compression pistons to fit S/E 103 heads.
Woods TW6G cams and gear kit
Hillside cycle bored throttle body.
Zippers bypass spring
Zippers air filter upgrade
Stock pushrods(had a set of new take offs)
Stock rocker arms(had a set of new take offs)
Cometic .030 head gasket
Rhinehart true duals
And some shiny pieces you will see in the following pics.

THANKS AGAIN SCOTT AND CRAIG. I am glad i found a shop that can deliver whats promised to me!

Now here is where he turned a blonde into a brunette.

Stock cyls with touch up pain in script.

Stock emissions cams out and Woods Knight Prowlers in!

Hillside Cylce bored throttle body.

Woods TW6G cam in the plate.

Now for some candy!!!!!!!!

More candy!!

More!

The business end of things

Thats the last one for a while i promise.
For anyone interested in the powdercoating and diamond cut, Give Scott a call as he will take care of everything for you. Sumax powdercoating and the Show cut treatment from Diamond heads.

The bike will be tuned next week as i am dropping it off on Saturday at Joes Cycle Repair.

Thanks, Danny..!

Red Head

Piece of Art there Chop. Very nice and a top quality piece congrats on how well it turned out and I'm sure it'll perform just as well. Good luck with your next build.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. It is appreciated!!!

Alibi...Scott and i will be working on the 117 of my own very soon, just waiting for the crank. We'll see if dad can keep up. We are getting up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to spend a while at Joe's and drop the bike off.

Well..................

Pick up the bike at Joe's today. Words cannot express how happy my dad and i are. The bike is TUNED in now. On the initial ride, before tuning, it felt very good. It had lots of torque and felt alot stronger than my 98 kit did in my bike(104/112). I was happy with that believe me.

We took it to Joes and left it there for almost a week and what we got back was NOT the same bike at all. It sounded different, idled different, revved different...Wow, the dyno charts looked impressive, wonder how this thing rides? I said to myself, well its cold as $hit outside, but i have to ride it tonight. After seeing the dyno baseline and the gains of the finished product, i wasnt sure what to expect.

Well if you consider i ripped through three gears flying all kinds of sideways burning the rear Metzeler right off, i was impressed to say the least. After doing that, i took a short trip up the parkway a couple exits to see how the highway ride was...Smooooth, and instant torque response. 6Th gear is now a pure joy to run in and still has amazing passing power. Yet this thing is tame as a kitten when under part throttle cruise.

Scott, if you read this....Thanks!!!!!Lunch on me, when i pick up my cases.......

All in all, completely happy with the final product if you can't tell. I can't wait until i take my Hillside 117 out for the maiden voyage, i honestly think it will be scary!
