Which HOG chapter in OH : V-Twin Forum: Harley Davidson Forums

I would like to join one of the local HOG chapters in N. Ohio. I live in sububurban Clev area. Century, Liberty, Southeast and Smitty's are all about the same distance. Any experiences good or bad with the above mentioned chapters? Thanks in advance.

Well I couldn't tell you which particular chapter but they sure where a LOT of 'em Ohio HOG members at the Road Candy Tour.

Hard to believe with all the members here that someone doesn't belong to Century, Liberty, Smitty's or South East's HOG chapter.

I belong to Stark County Hog out of Freedom HD.
Great group there, but pretty far south for you.

I just joined the Elyria Harley HOG. Good folks but there much farther west of Cleveland.

Thanks for the replies. Canton is about an hour south. Elyria is about 30 - 45 minutes west depending on how bad I speed. Century in Medina and Smitty's in Clev are about 20- 30 minutes. Was hoping on hearing from some Clev area guys.

There's the West Cleveland HOG Chapter with the Harley dealer on the west side of cleveland. Pretty good sized group too. http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Downs/4373/

I ride with a couple of guys from the Century Group, they were very disgruntled over their chapter - I guess there was some in-fighting this past season (I really did not listen closely). And, I'm not too much on Century as a dealership because they are usually high on things.

I did belong to the Elyria chapter, good folks but a little disorganized.

I have heard good things about both the West Cleveland and Southeast chapters. They seem to offer a lot.

But, I know nothing about Smitty's - sorry.

I would say pick one, if you don't like it, move on to another......
