Wisconsin H.O.G. Rally

Anyone out there attend the Wisconsin State H.O.G. Rally in Green Bay last weekend ?

Words can't describe the party held by McCoy's, the local Harley dealership........actually, there are words to describe it, but I was taught never to use those words !

Yes, Friday only.

The location was better this year than last. "Hotel, food and gambling on-site provided more things to do." The hotel's/Casino parking lot seemed to bring activities closer together. Bike parking was right next to the entrance. At least it wasn't some run-down fair grounds with nothing located close by and spread out over all of gods creation.

I was told that the Wisconsin HOG rally is better than the Illinois HOG rally. A couple from Illinois mentioned that there's hardly any vendors at their state rally. There was propbably ten MC P&A vendors, several charity bike raffles, three pin stripers, four HD dealers selling shirts and misc. stuff, and a few food vendors. WI state MC patrol put on demonstartions too.

Several more seminars took place that were not listed on the agenda. Garmin International gave a seminar for example. Local chapter(s) set them up. Not sure why they were not listed.

Overall, better than 05 but still a HOG rally. To few vendors and food choices but friendly and nice people. If your expectations weren't to high going there, then it was okay.

I would give it three rev's out of five.

Got there, registered, lost on the poker run then said fukkit and left for Door County on Saturday. Had a great ride, got rained on twice and got my share of Maker's Mark. I'd rather ride than sit around scratching my azz looking at fat old women. Besides, they don't play sheepshead at the casino.

Next year is in Racine - hell, I don't go to that armpit unless I absolutely have to. So, we going to do an Un-HOG Rally next year and head up North, then swing over to ride the Mississippi river roads south to Iowa and home.

p.s. - apologies to the Racine guys. Then again, forget it - if you were smarter you woudn't live there
