V-ROD with Ape Hangers

I was just wondering if anybody has ever seen a v-rod with apes. I was just wondering what it would look like.

V-ROD 1 FL
My understanding is that there was a demo bike at the spring Harley dealers show in Orlando that had a set on it.

They used the VRod B instrument cluster. and attached a standard set of risers.

According to several people who saw it, it looked real good because of the standard raked front end.

So GO TO IT!!

Regards.

v-rod with ape hangers

put 15" high ones on a 2004. I think it looks like they were made for each other. It took some doin. some of the parts had to be made

When Lisa was dropping off her FXDL for service recently at Glendale (CA) H/D, one of the mechanics road in on a V-Rod with apehangers. How did it look in real life? Well, the word rediculous came to my mind. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

haven't seen them myself, but i can tell you i'm sick of the dragbars, they kill me on a long ride. i think a set of apes that pull back another 2 inches, and a about 3 inches extended for feet, touring windshield..would be perfect for me. if it looks ugly..well it fits it's owner perfectly then

Everyone's entitled to their opinion. Just like everyone can crap out their bike, with some poorly designed or inappropriate accessory. They're making the payments or own the pink, they can do what they want to it.

Touring bikes are designed for "riding", not posing, not chroming out, not bar hopping, RIDING. And couches ride more easily after 10 or 12 hours than do some customized bar hoppers.

The V-Rod is a good concept. The line will likely be the future of the MoCo. However, while I'd like to see a touring VRSC model, putting ape hangers on this style bikes just doesn't make sense to me. It doesn't float my boat. Again, I like to "RIDE" my motorcycle. For someone else, with a different agenda, good for him/her.

On the way back from Sturgis I saw one traveling in the Sioux Falls area (in the back of a truck). It looked OK not for me. I don’t have a clue how it rode but I am not sure if the owner knew either as it looked to pretty to ride.

i've seen plenty of people posing on dressers. the more crap they put on it the better they like it.

actually i wish i hadn't even said posing. it's just another stupid label motorcyclist put on each other.

bein 6'4" its real hard to reach down to stock v-rod bars. I dont now and never have put any thing on one of my Harleys that wasnt totally functional. I do things to impress myself. I dont trailer. trailering is a sickness, for help dial 1-800-scared to ride. fxdx is all the road bike I require. most recent little trip was phoenix to red river new mexico via omaha. float your boat, you didnt mean barge did you?
