Chrome to Black

Does anyone know what the most successful technique whould be, for changing the horn cover and the front exhaust shrouds from chrome to black? Any comments appreciated. Thanks!

You could also do them in a black chrome finish like the picture, about the same as paint since they are already chromed.

Has anyone powder coated the exhaust pipe shrouds?Did they discolour after a period of time to any certain degree?Black chrome no good.

Why do you want them black can I ask? I have seen a couple pictures with 2 tone exhaust and, IMHO, it does not look too flash.
