My Outlaw/Thug/Club/ whatever-you-wanna-call-it V-Rod
Here's my 2009 DX. I bought it used in 2010 with 2500 miles bone stock. Added pipes/filter/tuner first, then air ride. Last winter I made some more substantial changes with new bars/fairing/wheels and a few other little things. It's hardly custom, just bolt on stuff, but it's mine. She's a daily rider (except for 2-3 really cold months) now at 20,000+ miles and after a real tuner and maybe cams I think I'll say it's completely done and time for a new project... Probably a FXR or older Sportster chop. Anyway, here's my beater for anyone who cares...
Mods include:
• D&D FatCat pipes
• K&N filter
• V&H FuelPak
• Arnott Air Ride
•• Performance Machine Elite grips
• Bad-VR Rifle Roadster Fairing
• 10" Lick's Z-Bars (internally wired)
• Lick's Mirror
• Painted Tins (lost the stripes)
• Black HD hand levers
• Radiantz Forkerz LED front signals
• Radiantz 240 LED rear signals
• custom license plate mount
• Superchicken custom derby cover
• Sportster gators (make shift boots)
• Muscle wheels

I like it a lot. If I rode a Vrod, I would like it to look like that.

It reminds me of a limousine. I'm high, so please forgive me... haha I would never ride a V-Rod, however, like Michael Psycle said, it would look like this...

Haha I can appreciate the herb-induced creative honesty. One of the things I love about this bike is that it looks different from anything I see when I'm on the road, and does everything well. It's a performance driven machine that rips when I wanna go fast, takes the twistys well enough to have fun without fearing for my life, and tours just as good as I could ever want on a 300 mile jaunt. I believe there is a tool for every job, which is why I like everything from cruisers, to dual sports, to sport bikes, to tourers, to chops... This bike just works for me cuz it does everything I need. Can't wait to add to the tool box with a few other bikes eventually...

glaucoma? or night blindness? or just a contact high from Washington?

I'm undecided as to which would be better a pizza place, Chip company, or buying Hostess and selling only in Colorado and Washington?

Sharp! How does the rear LED turn signals work for you? Visibility In day, at night?

Cool
That's a very nice bike. The V Rods are under appreciated.

Extremely bright at night, and I'd say just as bright as the stock signals in daylight, just with less surface area...

Thanks! I agree! I've ridden Sportsters, Dynas, and Streetglides... Love em all, but the V is by far the most fun to ride!
Here's some more pics just for chits and giggles...
