fitment question need quick reply please

my friend needs a stock exaust set up for his 2006 nightrod , i found a take off for an 08 but the auction ends in three hours i was wondering if he will have a fitment problem if i order it for him
so basically what im asking is if a 2006 nightrod and 2008 night rod exhaust is compatiable
thanks in advance

hey no problem its too late now the auction has ended i wish he would have been able to get it.. thanks for the info anyway it will make my search easier ..

what about a 2007 vrod not night rod exhaust, that should fit too right? i located one but not sure if that fits as far as brackets and all, my friend is computer illiterate so im doing the searching for him.

one reason i ask the night rod he has, is with mid controls and i think the vrod comes with foward controls dont know if that would be an issue with the exhaust

V rod 3rd volume interferes with the mids if I remember correctly.

No, the A model 3rd volume is longer that the one used on the Night Rod and NRS. If you go to HDs website and Click on MC's 2008 you can go back and forth between the models and readily see the difference.

Never mind, Brain fart had me thinking V Rod not night rod. Those are the same.
