2009 V-rod Muscle
Traded my '08 Heritage for an '09 Muscle and LOVE it. Very good ride, smooth acceleration and love the looks of it. Just past 200 miles and can't get enough of it.

I rode the V-Rod Muscle at my local dealer on demo day....an amazing bike. I also rode the Heritage and hated it ( I ride a 1200N)
The Muscle was a huge surprise to me as I thought the riding position would feel awkward - in fact, it felt pretty good. The Revo is one helluva engine!

I would love one too. My opinion, and maybe others as well, but I think that bike is SCREAMING for mid mount controls. Any aftermarket companies making relocation kits? The forward position is fine, but leaning over like that, my legs want to be under my a$$.

I was at Ben Breece HD in Ottawa, Ohio yesterday and they have a V-Rod muscle for $1k below MSRP if anyone is looking for a deal. I actually like the looks of the bike and wish i had a bunch of extra cash so i could own one.

An update
Well, after 9000 miles and a 1900 mile 5 day trip I still love this bike. Very cormfitable on long trips and not a bit of saddle soreness.
I added the SE stage 2 cam kit and 58mm Destroyer throttle body kits and went from 105hp at the rear wheel to 124hp at the rear wheel. Running about 84ft lbs of torque. I installed the kits myself without a hitch and I have to say that motorcycle engines are fairly easy to work on. Upgrading to a 260 rear tire soon, not much left on the stock 240.

Nice Bike!
I too would put mids on it to set that bike up the way it it designed-an American hot rod!
Here's Sandy's VRod mid control conversion kit-

You will pick up a bit more tourque if you run the stock trottle bodies. If you want the most all out power at high rpms. The 58mm Tb' sis the ticket.
A cheaper alternative to the Kosman mid's are to use the parts from the Streetrod (VRSCR) all available through HD

Congrats! The Muscle is one of the best-looking factory bikes made, IMO. Keep the rubber side down!
